Termitnjak was initiated with a purpose of creating an IT group able to provide web development, consulting and hosting services to Slovenian, EU and broader world markets. We have been striving towards a specialization in Open Source and Python based frameworks, specifically Plone , Pyramid and Kotti .
Meet our team of developers, system administrators, and CEOs. We are confident that our knowledge and rich experience can be of great benefit to your business when developing a bespoke web solution. Our team can assist with development, consulting, software analysis and design, project planning, and more.
Ever since the beginnings of Termitnjak in 2009, our vision has been focused on establishing a solid IT team of experienced software developers and system administrators, who will be providing high quality web development and consulting services within the EU and abroad.
We have chosen Python-based Open Source projects to become our main development tools, since we believe in their superior features, and are fascinated by Python-based systems in existence. Focusing mainly on, but not being limited to, Zope and Plone, we have become a part of an incredible Open Source community to which we have been contributing ever since. In addition, we have expanded our knowledge and experience to several other products, such as Pyramid and Kotti frameworks, Django, NixOS, and more.
Originating from Slovenia (a part of the Yugoslavian brotherhood until 1991, and a member of the European Union since 2007), our goal has been to equally encourage cooperation with the local and neighbouring markets, companies and communities, as well as become active in broader international world. We aspire to participate actively within Open Source communities and expand top-notch solutions to countries throughout the entire world.
We believe in advantages of Open Source systems, where the entire world has a possibility to examine, scrutinize and contribute to the code on multiple levels, and thus ensure the highest level of security and stability.
- Jure Cerjak on Open Source
We prefer to work together as a whole towards a common goal, where the results of work can be shared among everyone, as opposed to be involved in timeless competitions where usually only one profits.
- Gabrijel Peršin on Collaboration
The more one shares the more one gains. We encourage developers to join Open Source communities such as Plone, Pyramid and Kotti, to take the code, learn from it, add to it and share their work with the community.
- Natan Žabkar on Sharing
What is the purpose of a business? Many would say - to create profit. We would rather say that it is to provide a product or a service to the market in need. The profit is a mere consequence of an acceptance of a product or a service by the market.
