Termitnjak was initiated in 2009 with an idea of introducing Zope and Plone platforms to the European Union and worldwide markets. Establishing it's own infrastructure of servers, web developers, and administrators, Termitnjak has been able to provide effective web solutions to a variety of governmental and non-governmental organisations.

2016
Termitnjak continues to focus on Python development while delivering the first larger Plone 5 project with a secure Document Management System. We continue working mostly for the Netherland market, where we are providing Python consulting and development services at our maximum capacity. We have successfully realised a Plone e-commerce project using Plone BDA shop and are continuing to providing maintenance and support for existing and new clients.

2015
Termitnjak has been focusing mostly on Python consulting and development while waiting for the newest release of CMS Plone 5. We have realised a wireless smart home gateway using Python language and Raspberry-PI platform, and got involved in new projects with Netherland clients MKB Ondernemers BV and Yiggers Netherland BV. We have also started development with a fresh Plone version 5, while we continue to provide maintenance and support for existing Plone and Python projects.

2014
Termitnjak co-developed several large scale international projects and improved recognition within the Plone community by organising Zidanca sprint 2014, where developers from EU, USA and Australia focused on topics of the upcoming Plone 5 release. Termitnjak's team also visited EuroPython 2014 and Plone 2014 conferences in Germany and United Kingdom, respectively.

2013
Termitnjak continued to develop mainly with Plone, but also became involved with Pyramid and Kotti frameworks. Termitnjak organised a Kotti and NixOS dedicated Zidanca sprint 2013, where developers from all over Europe focused on general debugging and tweaking for NixOS and making Kotti more accessible to beginners, multilingual support and general bug fixes. Termitnjak extended it's consulting and development services to even broader markets of Australia, UK, Italy, Germany, and more.

2011
After attending several Plone sprints, Termitnjak organized the first Zidanca sprint 2011, where several Plone 4 bugs and issues were addressed. Termitnjak moved to the office situated in the center of Ljubljana, near the old tobacco factory. The main occupation remained bespoke Plone development for domestic and international clients.

2010
Termitnjak has been involved in several Plone projects and got introduced to the first international client Six Feet Up, Inc. Termitnjak's developers visited Plone conference 2010 in Bristol, UK, where important directions of Plone were presented and discussed. Termitnjak migrated all existing Plone sites to Plone 3 and started to consider Plone 2.5 as obsolete.

Initiation of a micro company Termitnjak d.o.o. with a goal of introducing Zope and Plone platforms to Slovenian and EU markets. Establishing the necessary IT infrastructure and an office in Ljubljana, Slovenia, Termitnjak was able to provide effective web solutions to a variety of governmental and non-governmental organisations. In addition to Plone 2.5 Termitnjak started working with Plone 3.

2007
Two students of electrical engineering were introduced to Zope/Plone for the first time, after being involved with web development for several years. Shortly after introduction, they visited PloneMyWeb workshop in Skopje, FYROM, where they learned about Python, TAL templates and helped with front-end development of a Plone theme for EESTEC International website. After returning from the workshop, they started to introduce Plone to existing and new clients. An idea of starting up a company naturally emerged.
